In just a few words, how would you describe your leadership style?
Be the tip of the spear. One thing I have learned as an attorney and managing partner is that the only approach to leadership is to lead from the front and ask your team to accomplish the mission with you rather than for you. Whether it was attacking an objective on the streets of Fallujah, tearing off an old roof in preparation for the new one, or spending what would otherwise be free time to assist our firm with branding and business development efforts, I have always tried to bring my team along with me and I will never ask a team member to attempt any task I have not or would not do myself.
