Our recent growth—both across practices and offices—has been the result of deliberate focus, and it has fostered fantastic collaboration across Gibson Dunn's platform. Our teams achieve amazing results for our clients every day—working on monumental deals and securing wins in tribunals across the globe. Likewise, we have continued our dedication to serving others through our pro bono efforts, and our work in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space—both within Gibson Dunn and in the world beyond the firm's walls. Being able to support and facilitate all of this work, and seeing our teams use their considerable talents to help our clients and communities, is an enormous source of pride.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
