District attorneys throughout the Empire State are mourning a longtime Hudson Valley prosecutor, former Columbia County District Attorney Paul Czajka, who died on Tuesday at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan after battling cancer.
“Paul was a respected member of the District Attorneys Association of the State of New York,” DAASNY President Michael E. McMahon, the Richmond County district attorney on Staten Island, said late Wednesday.
