U.S. Attorney Breon Peace of the Eastern District of New York on Tuesday announced his office is debuting a new “Whistleblower Pilot Program” that will offer nonprosecution agreements to individuals with new information about crimes—including public corruption.
The program is effective immediately, his office said.
