Law firms that have large groups of dealmakers both inside and outside the U.S. appear to be benefiting from a series of international deals lately.

After several weeks of megadeals and IPOs, deal activity appears to have calmed, with only a few announced M&A deals over $1 billion in the last nine days. And that comes even with the U.S. Federal Reserve lowering interest rates last week.
