A longtime non-attorney jurist in Central New York is resigning amid an investigation he impermissibly attended a political rally at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021—a charge he readily confirmed on Friday while noting he didn't participate in the insurrection.
Montour Falls Village Court Justice and Montour Town Court Justice Donald Spaccio's resignation takes effect Oct. 7, according to the state.
