The one-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks, as it falls between Rosh Hashanah on Oct. 2-4, and Yom Kippur from Friday to Saturday, has been an emotional trigger for some New York lawyers who double as Jewish spiritual leaders.
"I was really grappling with that in the weeks leading up to the High Holidays," revealed Alexander Rabinowitz, an associate at Simpson Thacher in Manhattan, and a cantor.
