Defense counsel for Sean Combs are urging a judge to compel federal prosecutors to identify the complainants against their client as civil lawsuits, which the rap artist's lawyers said contain "outright absurd" allegations, against the musician multiply.
The motion asks U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian of the Southern District of New York to require the government to turn over names of the victim-complainants in order to allow the defense to prepare for trial.
