Defense counsel for Sean Combs are asking a judge to bar civil litigators representing prospective witnesses in the rap artist's criminal prosecution from publicly speaking about the case.
The motion, filed late Sunday by Combs' defense team, says the music mogul has been the subject of "an unending stream of allegations" that are "aimed at assassinating Mr. Combs's character in the press" and imperil his right to a fair trial.
