Hundreds of New York attorneys, from large and small law firms, are traveling to various states to act as partisan and non-partisan polling and canvass observers for the Presidential Election on Nov. 5, said Jerry Goldfeder, senior counsel at Cozen O'Connor in Manhattan.

They will then be staying on in the days that follow, as mail-in ballots are counted, Goldfeder, an election law expert told the Law Journal in an interview seven days in advance of the election.
