Judges and attorneys turned out in large numbers for the naming of a central New York courtroom for Syracuse City Court Judge Langston C. McKinney, the first African-American to serve on the city's bench during his 24-year span.
McKinney died in May at age 79, and as of Wednesday's dedication, the arraignment part in the the Syracuse criminal courthouse now bears his name.
