A New York federal judge on Friday set an April trial date for New York City Mayor Eric Adams' public corruption case, as both sides sparred over a defense motion to dismiss a bribery count.
U.S. District Court Judge Dale Ho of the Southern District of New York set the April 21 date over defense requests for an earlier date and arguments by Adams' counsel that a later trial would infringe on his run for re-election.
