New York and Florida-based attorneys filed a $10 billion deceptive trade practice lawsuit against CBS Broadcasting Inc., based in New York, in the conservative federal district of Amarillo, Texas.
The lawsuit, President Donald J. Trump v. CBS Broadcasting Inc., would mostly likely be heard before U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Kacsmaryk of the Northern District of Texas, a Trump-appointed judge known for attempting to restrict the use of an abortion-inducing drug.
