New York City corporate lawyer Alex Gendzier, motivated by the start of his son's long-term commitment to the U.S. military in 2018, took a dive into researching the challenging transition into civilian life.
Gendzier, who joined Seyfarth Shaw earlier this year as a partner in its capital markets practice, said his motivation then was very personal—so his son would have something when he got out of the military, if Gendzier wasn't still here in 20 or 30 years.
