GovernmentIn a campaign video, Trump promised when President to “remove rogue bureaucrats” from power and “dismantle the deep state.” Echoing the blueprint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, Trump pledged to reissue his 2020 Executive Order (which President Joe Biden rescinded) that would allow Trump to bypass federal law and fire hundreds of thousands of federal employees at will, especially those who do not profess loyalty to him.
