Tasked with responding to a certified federal question, a number of judges on New York’s top court on Tuesday appeared hesitant to adjust the state’s two-year lookback for bringing claims under the Child Victims Act.
A question from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit posed whether the window should be widened on the front end by a full six months.
