Adam Klein, managing partner of Outten & Golden, responds to professor Bennett L. Gershman and attorney Joel Cohen, who opine that the firm had arguably engaged in unethical conduct by their abandoning client Columbia Law professor Katherine Franke:
How does Klein defend the firm’s conduct? By claiming the firm was blindsided by a rogue partner—me. This false narrative was created out of whole cloth months after I quit, and weeks after Franke filed an ethics complaint against the firm for dropping her “like a hot potato.”
