Nadine Menendez, wife of former New Jersey U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, will stand trial on bribery-related charges in January, a federal judge ruled on Monday.
The ruling followed in camera arguments over a defense request that the 57-year-old’s case be adjourned for medical reasons. She is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
