The man suspected in the Manhattan killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson has contested his extradition from Pennsylvania to New York to face murder charges.
Luigi Mangione indicated he would fight extradition during a hearing in Pennsylvania on Tuesday following his arrest a day earlier at an Altoona McDonald’s on charges of forgery, possession of an unlicensed firearm, and providing false identification to the police.
