A federal judge in New York on Friday denied a motion by attorneys for former U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez and his co-defendants for a retrial.
In a 78-page decision, U.S. District Court Judge Sidney Stein found there was no manifest injustice requiring a retrial, as the jury’s unanimously guilty verdicts were supported by the “extensive” evidence.
