A Massachusetts woman who filed a disciplinary complaint against a law professor she claims sexually assaulted her has sued the New York Attorney Grievance Committee for the second, eleventh, and thirteenth districts, alleging that the committee has refused to provide her copies of the materials it used in a disciplinary decision against the professor.

A Manhattan federal judge ruled in July that those who file disciplinary complaints against attorneys have a right to access related hearings, records, and some final dispositions related to their case under the First Amendment.
