Federal prosecutors want a judge to urge New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ lawyer to pipe down, claiming Alex Spiro is crossing the line in his out-of-court statements about the charges against his client.
“Since the unsealing of the Indictment in this case, defense counsel has repeatedly made false public statements about the facts and evidence in this case,” reads a letter from prosecutors, referencing the Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan partner.
