Katz’s Deli will renovate its bathrooms and entrances and increase its accessible seating under a settlement to end an Americans with Disabilities Act lawsuit brought by federal prosecutors.

Edward Kim, the acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, announced the settlement on Monday, saying the deal ensures that Katz’s Deli complies with the ADA, which requires restaurants and other public accommodations to remove barriers to accessibility, if the removal is “readily achievable.”
