The New York Times Co. sued the Dfinity Foundation, a Zurich-based blockchain tech nonprofit, in the New York Supreme Court on Wednesday to recover legal fees pursuant to the state’s anti-SLAPP statute.
And in doing so, Danielle Rhoades Ha, senior vice president of external communications for the Times, noted that two federal courts found that Dfinity's claims, which included defamation, were meritless.
