The New York Court of Appeals on Thursday blocked a last-minute bid by President-elect Donald Trump to have the state’s top court intervene in his Manhattan sentencing.
In a one-page order from Judge Jenny Rivera, the court rejected an order to show cause filed on Wednesday seeking to halt the proceeding.
