Chief Judge Debra Ann Livingston of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit was this year’s winner of the Stanley Fuld Award for her contribution to the practice of commercial law and litigation in New York.
The award is the highest honor bestowed by the New York State Bar Association’s Commercial and Federal Litigation Section, and was presented on Wednesday, as part of the association’s 2025 Annual Meeting. The award was accepted by Livingston’s colleague, Circuit Judge Richard Sullivan, who read from prepared remarks. Livingston was unable to make the awards ceremony due to familial reasons.
