A senior federal judge in Brooklyn on Tuesday awarded more than $500,000 in attorney fees on a $250,000 settlement.
U.S. District Judge Frederic Block devoted much of his 24-page opinion to "outdated” forum rule rates for fees, the derivation of which he called a “mystery” lacking a “well-articulated rationale.”
