Cases before the New York State Commercial Divisions seeking equitable or declaratory relief must now also meet the monetary thresholds for each county, following an amendment to the rules.
The change was signed on Jan. 28 by New York Chief Administrative Judge Joseph Zayas, and will take effect on March 31.
