A real estate attorney was sentenced to 54 months in prison for embezzling $3 million of client funds over a five year period, including after he had been disbarred for misusing client funds.
Hyun “Michael” Lee’s sentence was announced by John Durham, the acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, who expressed hopes that the prison sentence would prevent future misconduct.
