Lucille M. Barbato Lucille M. Barbato, 50, a graduate of Pace Law School who specializes in personal injury litigation, is a partner at Spiegel & Barbato. She was admitted in 1985.

Among her goals are to promote respect for the legal profession and the judicial system by advancing programs that highlight lawyers as civil, dignified professionals to both the public and the courthouse community; reach out to those within the 1,200-member bar group who spend most of their time in criminal, housing or family court and are no longer in the proximity of the bar group’s office in civil court; develop stronger Web communications so that members can stay connected to events and get the help they need; and continue the association’s role as a strong liaison between the bar and the bench.

Ms. Barbato’s installation is tentatively scheduled for Sept. 18.
