The former acting principal of New York City’s first Arabic-themed school did not defame critics whom she said “stalked” her as part of a ferocious “smear campaign” against her and the school, a Brooklyn judge has ruled.
Debbie Almontaser made the comments about members of “Stop the Madrassa Coalition” at a 2007 news conference, two months after she resigned as head of the Khalil Gibran International Academy in Brooklyn.
