In 1997, when Jonathan Wheeler-Whichard was sentenced to 25 years to life for the murder of Joseph Foster, the then-16-year-old defendant told the court, “I feel sorry for Mr. Joseph [deceased's] family but I didn’t do it, that’s all I have to say.”
Yesterday, Mr. Wheeler-Whichard found a judge who believed him.
