Previously confidential reports from the American Bar Association on conditions at immigrant detention centers across the United States were analyzed as part of a scathing new study faulting the government for failing to meet its own standards at those facilities.
The report, called “A Broken System,” released last week, was a collaboration between the National Immigration Law Center, the ACLU of Southern California and Holland & Knight.
