Clifford A. Scott of Conneaut, Ohio, who served as a Manhattan Supreme Court justice for 20 years, died on Aug. 15 of complications from diabetes. He was 91.

A native of Monroe, La., Justice Scott graduated from Southern University in 1942. After serving in the U.S. Coast Guard for 3 1/2 years, he earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and was admitted in 1950.
