ESTATE OF LILLIAN BARGHEN-KING, Deceased (2222/93)—Petitioner Wilhelmina Wise seeks letters of administration in the estate of her mother, Lillian Barghen-King. Her sister, Sarah P. Frierson, the voluntary administrator of decedent’s estate, objects to the relief requested on the ground that there is no estate to administer.
Ms. Barghen-King died intestate on March 25, 1992 survived by three daughters, petitioner, Ms. Frierson and Edith Butler, who post-deceased on May 8, 2002. The petition for letters of administration states that the sole asset of decedent’s estate is a parcel of real property located at 145 West 136th Street and that there are no debts of the decedent.
