With pending felonies in the Bronx skyrocketing, court officials announced yesterday that they will bolster the 2004 experiment in which both felony and misdemeanors are handled in a single Bronx criminal court.

Court officials also released the report of an internal study group that found a litany of problems, some under the court system’s control and some not, which have driven up pending felonies by 72 percent in the last five years.
