Despite widespread speculation about a possible move, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison has decided to stay put at 1285 Avenue of the Americas, at 51st Street, its home for the past quarter-century. The firm signed a 15-year renewal for floors 19 through 36, which begins in 2011.

The building is owned by 1285 LLC, an entity comprised of AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co. and institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Willkie Farr & Gallagher partner Robert I. Bressman represented the landlord.
