The Court of Appeals will hold an oral argument session on March 25 in Syracuse. It will be the first time the Albany-based Court has convened in Syracuse since 1851. The Court has scheduled meetings outside of Albany about once every two years to allow practitioners and others to observe its proceedings. Its most recent foray outside the capital was in 2008, when oral arguments were held at the Bronx Hall of Justice. The March 25 session, which will begin at 9:30 a.m., will be in the Onondaga County Courthouse, court officials said Friday. – Joel Stashenko
