ALBANY – Another high-ranking adviser to Governor David A. Paterson quit yesterday due to the investigation of whether members of his administration improperly interceded in allegations of domestic violence against former top aide David Johnson.
Press secretary Marissa Shorenstein resigned the $154,000-a-year post she has held for two years because she said that she could no longer do her job. The New York Times had reported that Ms. Shorenstein, at Mr. Paterson’s instruction, called the woman who accused Mr. Johnson on the phone.
