In November 2007, a purchaser (plaintiff) signed a contract to buy for $1.9 million, a condominium unit that is now for sale at 35 percent less or $1.3 million. Thus, the plaintiff would have lost “a considerable sum of money due to the substantial decreased value of the condominium if she had proceeded with its purchase. Perhaps that was the reason plaintiff chose not to consummate the sale.”
