Three New York City attorneys were charged Tuesday with participating in a $10 million mortgage fraud scheme.

According to federal prosecutors, two of the lawyers, Akin Ayorinde and Anthony Onua, purchased several properties in Brooklyn and Queens. Then, using allegedly fraudulent appraisals and title reports, they sold the properties at inflated prices to straw purchasers.
