Eugene R. Anderson, a founding partner of Anderson Kill & Olick who was considered a leader in insurance coverage law, died Friday at New York Presbyterian Hospital due to complications from pneumonia. He was 82.

Mr. Anderson had been “in the hospital for a long time with a rare form of double pneumonia,” managing partner Robert M. Horkovich said in an internal letter to the firm.
