Expanding from downtown Boston to downtown Manhattan, Milk Street Café will launch a second location at 40 Wall St., The Trump Building, in 2011. The café signed a 20-year lease for 21,000 square feet of retail space in the Trump Organizations’ 1.3-million-square-foot, 72-story landmark tower, also known as the Bank of Manhattan Trust building.

Originally known for its vegetarian dishes, homemade cooking and corporate catering, the eatery opened its 50 Milk St. location in Boston in 1981. Since then, the café has expanded its menu options by offering chicken, fish and meat dishes as well as freshly made desserts.
