The former co-chair of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s structured finance group, Christopher DiAngelo, is leaving the firm to join Katten Muchin Rosenman’s New York office along with at least 12 other attorneys.

Mr. DiAngelo, who started his legal career as a summer associate at predecessor firm Dewey Ballantine in 1983, said Dewey “is an amazing firm and excellent place.” But Katten Muchin’s chairman, Vincent A.F. Sergi, “made a very persuasive case. It is a young, stable, and financially sound place that was interested in growing in New York,” Mr. DiAngelo said.
