An attorney who has repeatedly missed filing deadlines has been ordered by a Brooklyn federal magistrate judge to submit a sworn statement describing her caseload and the system she uses to ensure that her cases do not languish.
Magistrate Judge Roanne L. Mann issued the order after discovering a “troubling pattern” in her court for Ulster County solo practitioner Julie Cohen Lonstein.
