The University of Pennsylvania and Syracuse University will share in a windfall $850,000 in cy pres grants left over from a 1960s class-action antitrust case.

The funds, which had been forgotten for three decades, started with $100,000 deposited in the early 1970s in an escrow account by a late Philadelphia lawyer, David Berger of Berger & Montague and continued to grow with interest.
