Difficult times often provide opportunity for change. The economic downturn in recent years has forced us to turn a critical eye toward re-shaping the legal profession and promoting realistic change that improves both the quality of our professional lives and the quality of the service that we provide to our clients.
One of my first actions as president of the state bar was to establish a Task Force on the Future of the Legal Profession to consider what the legal profession should look like in the decade ahead.
