A Long Island lawyer whose high-profile clients have included Joey Buttafuoco, Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael and Howard Stern will end his legal career in the wake of an 18-month suspension.
A unanimous panel of the Appellate Division, Second Department, last week disciplined Dominick A. Barbara of The Barbara Law Firm in Garden City after finding that he had failed to issue itemized bills, supervise staff, refund unearned fees that had been paid in advance and communicate with a former client and her new attorney.
