Yunling Ren has joined Butzel Long as counsel in the intellectual property practice. She was an in-house senior patent counsel at Johnson & Johnson. Also, Butzel Long has announced that Dr. Alan Lambert, who is also a physician, has been appointed chair of its health care practice.
Columbia Law School has established an endowed professorship devoted to the study of climate change law. Professor Michael Gerrard, director of the school’s Center for Climate Change Law and a Law Journal columnist, will be the first Andrew Sabin Professor of Professional Practice. Whoever holds the professorship will also serve as the center’s director.
