• Shearman & Sterling has expanded its bank finance capabilities with the addition of Joshua W. Thompson as a partner. Mr. Thompson, who was with Proskauer Rose and co-led its infrastructure group, focuses on complex financings, including acquisition financings and other leveraged lending, structured financings, second-lien financings and mezzanine investments.
• Joshua A. Berman has joined Kelley Drye & Warren as a partner. Mr. Berman, who represents clients in complex commercial litigation, corporate control disputes, securities and financial industry matters, was a partner at Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone.
